Power of Attorney Services

A Power of Attorney is a legal document allowing another person to act on your behalf in taking care of legal, business, and financial affairs in the event that you are unable to do so.

Most often, a power of attorney is crucial when one becomes incapacitated and taking care of legal and financial matters becomes urgent. For example, in preparation for Medicaid during a time of ill health. When it matters most, a power of attorney will allow a trusted other to make bank transactions, write checks, and speak on your behalf while you are ill.

A power of attorney will save you and your loved ones from having to petition the court to request a Guardianship.
